My family and I had the opportunity to live in Washington D.C. while I was teaching Naval Leadership Training from 1999 to 2002. I highly recommend visiting this amazing place to see the fantastic sights there. The monuments, memorials and museums are a rich with history and are a must to enjoy for anyone who lives in this fantastic country of ours. The best times to consider taking a trip are either in April when the Cherry Blossoms are at their peak, or during late September / early October when the fall colors look their most brilliant.

Portrait Session: Dress-Up with “Mommy’s Wedding Dress”

“Mommy’s Wedding Dress”

To me, Portrait Sessions can be a lot of fun, and they hold a lot of meaning to the people whom I photograph. This one in particular holds a special place in my heart because it captured my heart from the moment the little girl’s mom presented the idea to me.

“I would love to let my two-year old daughter dress-up in my wedding dress so one day these pictures can be displayed on the day of her real wedding.”

How cute is that!!! I loved the idea and couldn’t resist such an incredible opportunity. I want to thank this wonderful family for entrusting me with capturing the photographs that have such an important meaning to them!
