Capturing the Moments that Matter Most!
The first camera I ever owned opened my eyes to see the world in an amazing way! Looking for that “perfect” angle and capturing an idea pictured in my mind has been a thrill for me. From the moment the camera shutter tripped, the anticipation of processing the film, and the satisfaction of seeing the finished printed picture… I was hooked at an early age.
My creativity continued to grow and in 1984, an opportunity to do what I love presented itself as a full time profession with the United States Navy. After graduation from the U.S. Naval Schools of Photography, I spent the next 24 years taking pictures all over the world and documenting amazing “once in a life-time” events. Being a Naval Photographer took off to new heights when I became a Naval Air Crewman and I specialized as an aerial cameraman. Even during off duty hours, I always had a camera within reach… ready to “catch the shot”. From film, to video production, to the advent of digital imaging… I have been able to master all aspects of what I am passionate about – PHOTOGRAPHY!!!
I started “Visual Masterworks” in 1991, photographing weddings and family portraits as a side business from my Naval Profession. After finishing my Naval Career, my family and I settled in Colorado Springs and I now continue doing what I love here in the beautiful state of Colorado. As a professional wedding photographer and environmental portrait photographer, I strive to provide breathtaking photographs that my clients will cherish for years to come… at a price that makes sense.
I combine a photo-journalistic approach with a creative style… capturing those natural moments as they happen, while creating images that are specific and unique to you.
My goal – to provide a photo session that is memorable, fun, and gives you spectacular pictures.
I have covered events all over the state of Colorado… Trinidad, Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Denver, Fort Collins, and the high Rockies. Contact me at visualmasterworks@hotmail.com or call me at 719-362-7530. I would love to go over the details of your photography needs.
