GARDEN of the GODS

It has been a long time dream for me to visit Garden of the Gods Park during the early morning after a snowfall, and that opportunity presented itself one morning in February of 2020.

Once I arrived, I was greeted by morning sunlight bathing the red rocks in its morning glow, contrasted by the sparkling white snow while it was still fresh and pristine.  The majestic summit of Pike’s Peak was also covered in a blanket of snow, reaching up to the perfect blue sky in the background, only adding to the grandeur of this picture perfect morning.  The Park was quiet, the snow untouched, the air… crisp and cool.  No wind, and virtually no one…

This has been one of the best visits to this park I have ever experienced!!!
