COMBAT CAMERA PACIFIC – “DET ALPHA”
DEPLOYMENT TO THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES
My time with Combat Camera Pacific was a one of the best during my military career.
My first deployment with COMCAM was with Detachment ALPHA… Based out of Atsugi, Japan. It was the forward deployment home to Combat Camera personnel operating in the Asia-Pacific, leaving on a moments notice to cover missions throughout the region. During this DET, my mission was to support Operation Enduring Freedom – Philippines (OEF-P), part of Operation Enduring Freedom and the U.S. Global War on Terrorism. My team and I provided strategic video and still coverage for about 500 U.S. military personnel assisting the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) combating terrorism in the region.
