Fleet Imaging Center Pacific
In 1993 I received orders to Fleet Imaging Center Pacific at Naval Air Station Miramar, located in San Diego California. While there, I was in charge of three work centers and the detachment at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. Various duties included studio photography, color film and printing production, introductory work in digital imaging and aerial photography. I completed SERE Training and then became multi-platform qualified in the following aircraft: the SH-60 Sea Hawk, the F-14 Tomcat, the FA-18 Hornet, and C-2 Greyhound aircraft. I had the privilege to cover many missions with the various helicopter squadrons, Navy and Marine Corps fighter squadrons and “Top Gun”.
